STEPS TO HEALING
Peacebuilding
& Leadership Program
This program targets Lebanese University students aged 17-24, offering intensive training on peacebuilding and leadership over a period of 4 months. Participants enhanced their soft skills and expanded their knowledge on violence, conflict, inequalities, gender-based violence.
Implemented with Teach For Lebanon and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, this program led to 100 trained students, 20+ launched community projects, and a 90% increase in leadership and peace-building knowledge.
Steps to Healing was implemented under the Access Alumni Mini-Grant Program implemented by Teach For Lebanon (TFL) organization and funded by the Public Affairs Section at the United States Embassy in Beirut and in collaboration with TTalks and NewGen Think Thank U.S Headquartered organization.
LEAD Program
Leadership, Empowerment, Advocacy & Development
LEAD empowers university students in North Lebanon as advocates for youth rights, influencing decision-makers and stakeholders. Implemented in partnership with OXFAM Lebanon, it includes 6-day intensive training and a 3-day ToT session, impacting 70 students with leadership and advocacy skills, and 25 students with advanced ToT skills.
SSS
Triple S Program
The Triples S Program is focused on empowering youth by addressing gender-based violence through comprehensive training sessions. In 2024, this program trained 50 young individuals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to combat and raise awareness about gender-based violence in their communities.
Brightful is a nonprofit non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering youth to become change-makers and peacebuilders.”
